Moroccan Chicken Skewers
These flavorful skewers are marinated in a Moroccan-inspired spice blend, then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Wooden skewers - 8, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Lemon juice - Juice of 1 lemon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Ground turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Chicken breasts - 4, cut into chunks
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, cayenne, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken chunks and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to marinate.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Thread the chicken chunks onto the soaked skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.
