Moo Yang is a popular Thai street food made with marinated pork that is grilled to perfection. It is often served with sticky rice and a spicy dipping sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro roots - 2, chopped
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Pork shoulder - 1 pound, sliced into thin pieces
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, mix together the garlic, cilantro roots, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
- Add the sliced pork to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Brush the grill with vegetable oil.
- Grill the pork for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
