Moo Shu Chicken Stir Fry

Let's Get Started

  1. In a small bowl, marinate the chicken with soy sauce and sesame oil for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of sesame oil and stir fry the cabbage, carrots, and wood ear mushrooms for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  7. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs into the empty space.
  8. Scramble the eggs until cooked, then mix them with the vegetables.
  9. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add hoisin sauce and sliced scallions.
  10. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
  11. Serve the Moo Shu Chicken stir fry with tortillas or pancakes for wrapping.
