Moo Krob
Moo Krob is a popular Thai dish, known for its crispy pork belly glazed with a sweet and tangy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- White vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Pork belly - 1 kg
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Rub the pork belly with salt and vinegar, then place it in the oven for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and cook for another 30 minutes until the pork is crispy.
- While the pork is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and cornstarch in a pan over medium heat. Stir until the sauce thickens.
- Once the pork is done, let it cool for a few minutes before cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
- Pour the sauce over the crispy pork and serve.
