Mazamorra

Ingredients - Serves 6
- Flour - 1/2 cup
- Apple - 1, diced
- Pineapple - 1, diced
- Cloves - 4
- Cinnamon stick - 1
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 2 liters
- Purple corn - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, combine the purple corn, water, sugar, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the corn is soft.
- Add the pineapple and apple to the pot and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the flour with a little water to make a paste. Stir this into the pot to thicken the mazamorra.
- Continue to cook for another 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mazamorra is thick and creamy.
