Ingredients - Serves 4
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 1 cup, warm
- Flour - 2 cups
- Yeast - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken broth - 1 cup
- Gelatin - 10 grams
- Pork - 200 grams, minced
Let's Get Started
- Mix the gelatin with the chicken broth and refrigerate until it forms a jelly.
- Combine the pork, soy sauce, sugar, green onions, and ginger in a bowl. Cut the jelly into small cubes and mix it into the pork filling.
- Dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Combine the flour and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add the yeast water, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic, then let it rest for 2 hours.
- Roll out the dough and cut it into small circles. Place a spoonful of the pork filling in the center of each circle.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pleating as you go, until the dumpling is sealed.
- Steam the dumplings for 10 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through.
- Serve the dumplings hot, with soy sauce for dipping.
