Maple Bourbon Beef Ribs
These tender, slow-cooked beef ribs are glazed with a sweet and smoky maple-bourbon sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Maple syrup - 1/2 cup
- Bourbon - 1/2 cup
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Beef ribs - 4 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium heat. Add the ribs and brown on all sides. Remove the ribs and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and cook until soft.
- Add the bourbon to the pot and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
- Add the maple syrup, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Bring to a simmer.
- Return the ribs to the pot, cover, and transfer to the oven.
- Cook for 2-3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
- Serve the ribs with the sauce.
