Beef Ribs with Espresso BBQ Sauce
Tender beef ribs smothered in a rich, smoky espresso BBQ sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Ketchup - 1 cup
- Espresso - 2 shots
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Beef ribs - 2 racks
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 275°F.
- Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ribs and brown on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic and cook until soft.
- Add the espresso, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Return the ribs to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
- Cover the skillet and transfer to the oven. Cook for 2-3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
- Serve the ribs with the espresso BBQ sauce.
