Mango Mousse
This refreshing mango mousse is a light and creamy dessert made with fresh mangoes and whipped cream.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Powdered sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Whipping cream - 1 cup
- Cold water - 2 tablespoons
- Gelatin - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Ripe mangoes - 2 cups, peeled and diced

- In a blender or food processor, puree the diced mangoes until smooth.
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
- In a separate small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Add the bloomed gelatin to the warm sugar mixture and stir until completely dissolved.
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the mango puree into the whipped cream until well combined.
- Divide the mango mousse mixture into serving glasses or bowls.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
