  1. In a large pot, bring the beef or chicken broth to a boil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or pork, tofu, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place a small spoonful of the filling mixture onto each dumpling wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half and seal the edges by pressing firmly.
  4. Add the dumplings to the boiling broth and cook for about 10 minutes, or until they float to the surface.
  5. If using vegetables, add them to the soup and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Slowly pour the beaten egg into the soup while stirring gently to create egg ribbons.
  7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
