Mission Bay Meatball Subs
These hearty meatball subs are a family favorite, packed with flavor and perfect for a weeknight meal or game day snack.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 cup, shredded
- Sub rolls - 4
- Marinara sauce - 2 cups
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Egg - 1
- Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
