Malai Korma
Malai Korma is a rich and creamy Indian dish made with paneer (cottage cheese) and a flavorful white gravy made from onions and cashews.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt - to taste
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh cream - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Green chillies - 2, finely chopped
- Garlic - 4 cloves, finely chopped
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, finely chopped
- Cashews - 1/4 cup
- Onions - 2, finely chopped
- Paneer - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Soak the cashews in warm water for 10 minutes, then grind into a smooth paste.
- Heat the ghee in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the ginger, garlic, and green chillies to the pan and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Add the cashew paste to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes to the pan and mix well to coat them in the gravy.
- Add the milk and salt to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes, until the gravy thickens.
- Stir in the fresh cream and remove from heat.
- Serve the Malai Korma hot with naan or rice.
