Let's Get Started

  1. In a pot, add the ground pork, soy sauce, sugar, rice wine, minced garlic, star anise, cinnamon stick, and white pepper.
  2. Add water and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 2 hours.
  4. Add the hard boiled eggs to the pot in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  5. Serve the braised pork and an egg over steamed rice.
