Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef and cook for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the sliced red onion, tomatoes, and yellow chili pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss with the vegetables.
  6. Add the cooked french fries and toss everything together.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro.
  8. Serve the lomo saltado over cooked white rice.
