Lobster Roll Sandwich
This classic New England lobster roll sandwich is made with fresh lobster meat, mayo, and served on a buttered and toasted roll.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Lettuce leaves - 4
- Hot dog buns - 2
- Butter - 2 tablespoons, softened
- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Fresh lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Celery - 1/4 cup, finely chopped
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Lobster meat - 1 pound, cooked and chopped
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the lobster meat, mayonnaise, celery, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread the softened butter on the inside of the hot dog buns and toast them in the skillet until golden brown.
- Place lettuce leaves on the toasted buns.
