Kuay Tiew
Kuay Tiew is a popular Thai noodle soup dish made with rice noodles, broth, and various toppings.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Chili flakes - To taste
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken breast - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Rice noodles - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the chicken breast slices and cook until they are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove the chicken slices from the broth and set aside.
- Add the fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar to the broth. Stir well to combine.
- Divide the cooked rice noodles into serving bowls.
- Top the noodles with the cooked chicken slices, bean sprouts, green onions, and cilantro.
- Pour the hot broth over the noodles and toppings.
- Garnish with lime wedges and sprinkle with chili flakes, if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
