Krebinetter
Krebinetter are Danish pork patties seasoned with herbs and spices, pan-fried to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Egg - 1
- Breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- Ground pork - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the patties to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve the krebinetter hot with your choice of side dishes or in a burger bun with your favorite toppings.
