Korean Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
This Korean-inspired beef and broccoli stir fry is packed with flavor and comes together quickly for a delicious and satisfying meal.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Broccoli florets - 4 cups
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef slices and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until crisp-tender.

- Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
