Let's Get Started

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
  2. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the rinsed rice and cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is soft and the water has a creamy consistency.
  3. In a separate pan, sauté the minced garlic until golden. Add the minced chicken or pork and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Season the meat with soy sauce, fish sauce, and white pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. Add the cooked meat into the rice soup and stir well.
  6. Serve the soup hot, garnished with chopped cilantro and spring onions.
