Pla Tod
Pla Tod is a traditional Thai dish featuring fried fish with a flavorful garlic and turmeric marinade.

- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- White pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- White fish fillets - 4

- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, turmeric powder, white pepper, and fish sauce to make a marinade.
- Add the fish fillets to the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the marinated fish fillets. Fry each side for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fish from the pan and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve the fish hot with a side of jasmine rice and fresh vegetables.
