Let's Get Started

  1. Clean and wash the fish fillets. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a bowl, mix together ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, lemon juice, and salt to make a marinade.
  3. Coat the fish fillets with the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai for frying.
  5. Carefully place the marinated fish fillets in the hot oil and fry them until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  6. Remove the fried fish from the oil and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice or as an appetizer with mint chutney.
