  1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and cook until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic, ginger, curry powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Add the tomatoes and cook until they start to break down, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the kapenta fish and water. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Cover the pot and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with sadza or rice.
