Kadhi Pakora

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Oil - for deep frying
- Water - as required
- Salt - to taste
- Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Green chili - 1, finely chopped
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Gram flour (besan) - 1 cup
- For pakora (dumplings): -
- Water - 4 cups
- Salt - to taste
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Gram flour (besan) - 2 tablespoons
- Yogurt - 1 cup

Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, whisk together the yogurt, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Add water and whisk until smooth.
- Heat oil in a pan, add the yogurt mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
- In the meantime, prepare the pakoras. In a bowl, mix together the gram flour, onion, green chili, coriander leaves, and salt. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Add the fried pakoras to the simmering kadhi. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
- Serve the Kadhi Pakora hot with rice or roti.
