Kaddu Ki Kheer
Kaddu Ki Kheer is a delicious Indian dessert made with pumpkin and milk. It's a perfect sweet dish for festive occasions.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Almonds - 10, chopped
- Raisins - 10
- Cashews - 10, chopped
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Milk - 1 litre
- Pumpkin - 1 medium, peeled and grated
Let's Get Started
- Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated pumpkin. Saute for 5 minutes.
- Add milk to the pan and let it boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add sugar and cardamom powder to the pan and mix well.
- Cook for another 10 minutes until the kheer thickens.
- Garnish with chopped cashews, raisins, and almonds.
- Serve the Kaddu Ki Kheer warm or chilled.
