Kadai Chicken

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat oil in a kadai or deep skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add grated ginger, minced garlic, and slit green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and kadai masala. Mix well.
  6. Add chicken pieces and cook until they are sealed and lightly browned.
  7. Add sliced bell peppers and salt. Mix well.
  8. Cover and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  9. Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
  10. Serve hot with naan or rice.
