Jjinmandu
Jjinmandu is a popular Korean dish, which are steamed dumplings filled with a mixture of ingredients including ground pork, tofu, and vegetables.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Dumpling wrappers - 1 package
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Tofu - 1/2 block
- Ground pork - 1/2 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, tofu, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold in half, and press to seal.
- Place the dumplings in a steamer basket, making sure they do not touch each other.
- Steam over boiling water for 15 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
