Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the pork cutlets with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the breaded cutlets until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the cooked cutlets to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes to ensure they are fully cooked.
  6. While the cutlets are baking, prepare the vegetables by shredding the cabbage, julienned the carrots, and slicing the green onions.
  7. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  8. Spread a spoonful of tonkatsu sauce on each tortilla.
  9. Place a cooked pork cutlet on top of the sauce.
  10. Add a handful of shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, and sliced green onions on top of the pork cutlet.
  11. Drizzle more tonkatsu sauce over the vegetables.
  12. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  13. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
  14. Serve the Japanese Tonkatsu Wraps immediately and enjoy!
