Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  4. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  5. Add the sliced bell peppers and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and mushy.
  7. Add the turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  8. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. Add a little water if needed to adjust the consistency of the curry.
  10. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  11. Simmer for another 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend together.
  12. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  13. Serve hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
