  2. Add the sliced beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef onto the soaked skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. In a saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  7. Add the ground peanuts and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Add the coconut milk, tamarind paste, brown sugar, and lime juice. Stir well to combine.
  9. Simmer the peanut sauce for about 5 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
  10. Serve the grilled sate padang skewers with the peanut sauce on the side.
