Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the warm water, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours, until it has doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
  7. Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it with your hand.
  8. Brush the tops of the cakes with sesame oil.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cakes are golden brown.
