Hoisin Pork Stir Fry
This delicious Hoisin Pork Stir Fry is made with tender pork, colorful vegetables, and a flavorful hoisin sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Toasted sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
- Green onions - 2, sliced (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Hoisin sauce - 1/4 cup
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Broccoli florets - 2 cups
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Bell peppers - 2, sliced
- Pork tenderloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add pork slices and stir fry until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Stir fry for 1 minute.
- Add bell peppers, onion, and broccoli. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Return the cooked pork to the skillet and pour the hoisin sauce mixture over the ingredients.
- Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and coats the ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
