Harissa sauce is a spicy and flavorful North African condiment made with chili peppers, garlic, spices, and olive oil.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Caraway seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic cloves - 4
- Dried chili peppers - 10
Let's Get Started
- Place the dried chili peppers in a bowl and cover with hot water. Let them soak for 10 minutes to soften.
- Drain the chili peppers and remove the stems and seeds.
- In a food processor or blender, combine the chili peppers, garlic cloves, cumin, coriander, caraway seeds, salt, olive oil, and lemon juice.
