Pinchitos Morunos
Pinchitos Morunos are the Spanish version of kebabs. They are marinated in a special 'Mojo Picon' sauce before being grilled, giving them a unique and delicious flavor.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Pork loin - 500 grams, cut into cubes
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, paprika, cumin, oregano, cayenne pepper, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add the pork cubes to the bowl and mix well to coat them in the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible.
- Preheat your grill or barbecue.
- Thread the marinated pork cubes onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the pork is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve the Pinchitos Morunos hot, with a side of salad or rice if desired.
