Gyro Lamb Wrap
A delicious and hearty wrap filled with succulent lamb, fresh vegetables, and a tangy tzatziki sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tzatziki sauce - 1 cup
- Onions - 1, thinly sliced
- Tomatoes - 2, sliced
- Lettuce - 1 cup, shredded
- Pita bread - 4 pieces
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lamb - 500 grams, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the lamb, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Add the lamb and cook until it's browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
- Warm the pita bread on the grill pan for about a minute on each side.
- To assemble the wraps, spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on each pita bread. Top with the cooked lamb, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
- Fold the pita bread over the fillings and serve the gyro lamb wraps immediately.
