Grilled Cheese with Bacon
This delicious grilled cheese sandwich is made with crispy bacon and melted cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
- Bread - 4 slices
- Bacon - 6 slices
Let's Get Started
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place 2 slices of cheese on the unbuttered side of 2 bread slices.
- Top the cheese with 3 slices of bacon each.
- Place the remaining 2 bread slices on top, buttered side facing up.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
