Glen Park Grilled Cheese
A delicious and hearty grilled cheese sandwich perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Dried basil - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Mozzarella cheese - 4 slices
- Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
- Bread - 4 slices
Let's Get Started
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Sprinkle the buttered side of two slices of bread with garlic powder and dried basil.
- Place one slice of cheddar cheese and one slice of mozzarella cheese on the unbuttered side of the two slices of bread with the spices.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
