Grilled Cheese Sandwich
A classic grilled cheese sandwich made with melted cheese and toasted bread.
Ingredients - Serves 1
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Cheddar cheese - 2 slices
- Bread - 2 slices
Let's Get Started
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, on the skillet.
- Add the cheddar cheese slices on top of the bread.
- Place the second slice of bread, butter side up, on top of the cheese.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom bread slice is golden brown.
- Flip the sandwich and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and let cool for a minute.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve hot.
