Gongura Mutton

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Clean the mutton pieces and marinate with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste and salt. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions and green chillies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  3. Add the marinated mutton to the pan and cook on a medium flame until the mutton is tender.
  4. In another pan, add the gongura leaves and cook until they become soft. Let it cool and make a puree.
  5. Add the gongura puree to the cooked mutton and mix well. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Gongura Mutton is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice or roti.
