Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it sit for 5 minutes, or until it's frothy.
  2. In another bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, xanthan gum, and salt.
  3. Add the beaten eggs, olive oil, and vinegar to the yeast mixture. Stir well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet, stirring well after each addition. The dough should be slightly sticky but manageable.
  5. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it's doubled in size.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If you have a baking stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.
  7. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a piece of parchment paper. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Transfer the loaf (still on the parchment paper) to the preheated baking stone or a baking sheet. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
