  1. In a small bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast over the top, and let stand for about 10 minutes, until foamy.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, xanthan gum, and salt. Create a well in the middle and pour in the yeast mixture, egg, oil, and vinegar. Stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a wet spatula. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until the dough has risen to the top of the pan.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
