BBQ Tempeh and Coleslaw Pizza

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the tempeh slices and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.
  4. Spread the BBQ sauce over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  5. Top the sauce with the cooked tempeh slices and sliced red onion.
  6. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the toppings are hot.
  7. While the pizza is baking, make the coleslaw. In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, vegan mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Toss well to combine.
  8. Once the pizza is done, let it cool for a few minutes before topping with the coleslaw. Slice and serve immediately.
