Ingredients - Serves 2
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Honey - 2 teaspoons
- Cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon
- Cardamom - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 2 cups
- Arabica coffee beans - 2 tablespoons, coarsely ground
Let's Get Started
- In a small saucepan, combine the water, cinnamon, and cardamom. Bring to a boil.
- Add the coarsely ground Arabica coffee beans to a French press or coffee maker.
- Pour the boiling water mixture over the coffee grounds and let steep for 4 minutes.
- While the coffee is steeping, heat the milk in a separate saucepan until hot but not boiling.
- After 4 minutes, press down the plunger on the French press or strain the coffee into a separate container.
- In a mug, combine the brewed coffee, cocoa powder, and honey. Stir until well combined.
- Pour the hot milk into the mug and stir gently.
