Ghriba are traditional Moroccan cookies that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They are typically flavored with almonds, sesame seeds, and a hint of citrus.
Ingredients - Serves 24
- Sesame seeds - 1/4 cup
- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Egg - 1
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, melted
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Granulated sugar - 1 cup
- Almond flour - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
