- Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Eggs - 2 large
- Granulated sugar - 1 cup
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, softened

- All-purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups
- Fresh figs - 1 pound
