German Bratwurst with Sauerkraut
This traditional German dish features juicy bratwurst sausages served with tangy sauerkraut.

- Buns - 4
- Mustard - For serving
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Caraway seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Beer - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1, thinly sliced
- Sauerkraut - 1 can (16 oz)
- Bratwurst sausages - 4
Let's Get Started
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the butter and sliced onion to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Push the onions to one side of the skillet and add the bratwurst sausages. Cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
