General Tsos Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, combine the cornstarch, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and hoisin sauce. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat them in the sauce. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until it turns golden brown and crispy, about 5-6 minutes.
  6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  7. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper, broccoli florets, and sliced green onions. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  8. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the remaining sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce.
  9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
  10. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds.
  11. Serve the General Tso's Chicken Stir Fry over cooked rice.
  12. Enjoy!
