Galbi Skewers
These Korean-style marinated short rib skewers are a delicious and flavorful dish, perfect for a barbecue or family gathering.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Wooden skewers - 8, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- Soy sauce - 1/2 cup
- Short ribs - 1.5 pounds, boneless
Let's Get Started
- Cut the short ribs into 1-inch pieces and place them in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, chopped green onions, and black pepper. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the marinade over the short ribs and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated short ribs onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
