Galata Tower Ginger Coffee

Ingredients - Serves 2
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Honey - 2 teaspoons
- Water - 2 cups
- Fresh ginger - 1-inch piece, peeled and grated
- Ground coffee - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- In a small saucepan, combine the ground coffee, grated ginger, water, honey, and cinnamon.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and let it steep for an additional 5 minutes.
- Strain the coffee mixture into two cups.
- In a separate saucepan, heat the milk until hot but not boiling.
- Pour the hot milk into the cups with the coffee mixture.
- Stir well and serve hot.
- Optional: Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
