Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add minced ginger and garlic, and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add sliced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. Add Thai basil leaves and sliced red chili pepper (if using), and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
