Let's Get Started

  1. Soak the mung beans in water for at least 2 hours, or until they become soft.
  2. Drain the mung beans and blend them in a food processor until they form a thick paste.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mung bean paste, kimchi, pork belly, mung bean sprouts, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Scoop a spoonful of the mung bean mixture into the pan and flatten it with the back of the spoon.
  6. Cook the pancake for about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until it becomes golden brown.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining mung bean mixture.
  8. Serve the bindaetteok warm with a side of soy sauce for dipping.
